THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST
IOWA...WEST CENTRAL IOWA...EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTHEAST
NEBRASKA AND SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE INTO MID
AFTERNOON OVER EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND WESTERN IOWA. ALTHOUGH
WIDESPREAD SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED...ISOLATED STRONG STORMS
WITH GUSTY WINDS AND BRIEF HEAVY RAIN IS POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

HOT AND HUMID WEATHER IS EXPECTED BY MID TO LATE WEEK WITH
AFTERNOON HEAT INDEX VALUES RISING TO 105 TO 110 IN MANY AREAS.
AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON. A COLD FRONT WILL PUSH INTO THE AREA
SATURDAY, HOWEVER HOT TEMPERATURES WILL BE FOUND AHEAD OF THE
FRONT.

THIS IS A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY FOR PARTS
OF THE AREA. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE FRIDAY WITH
SCATTERED STORMS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
