THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MOST OF EASTERN NEBRASKA AND
PARTS OF WESTERN IOWA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE AREA TODAY AND
EARLY TONIGHT. TOTAL SNOWFALL SHOULD BE 2 TO 5 INCHES WITH THE
LIGHTER AMOUNTS EXPECTED NEAR THE KANSAS BORDER AND THE HEAVIER
AMOUNTS GENERALLY FROM NORTHEAST NEBRASKA INTO WEST CENTRAL IOWA.

SEVERAL DISTURBANCES WILL SPREAD PERIODS OF LIGHT TO MODERATE
SNOW ACROSS EASTERN NEBRASKA AND INTO WESTERN IOWA THROUGH LATE
MORNING. THE SNOW SHOULD THEN CONTINUE INTO THIS EVENING BEFORE
ENDING. BLOWING SNOW IS POSSIBLE LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS
EVENING AS NORTHWEST WINDS INCREASE BEHIND A COLD FRONT FORECAST
TO CROSS THE AREA DURING THAT TIME.
