THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST
IOWA...WEST CENTRAL IOWA...EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTHEAST
NEBRASKA AND SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT AND THURSDAY

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE STORMS TONIGHT...GENERALLY NORTH
OF A LINE FROM SEWARD TO NEBRASKA CITY AND ACROSS ALL OF SOUTHWEST
IOWA. A WARM FRONT IS SLOWLY PUSHING NORTH INTO THE REGION. THE
ATMOSPHERE REMAINS CAPPED INITIALLY...BUT IF THE CAP CAN BE
BROKEN...STORMS COULD DEVELOP AND WOULD QUICKLY BECOME SEVERE WITH
LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS THIS EVENING ALONG OR NORTH OF THE
FRONT. THERE IS ALSO A RISK OF ISOLATED TORNADOES INTO PORTIONS OF
EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA INTO SOUTHWEST IOWA.

MEANWHILE...STORMS MAY NOT FORM AT ALL FURTHER NORTH NEAR THE
NEBRASKA AND SOUTH DAKOTA BORDER...OR SOUTH OF THE WARM FRONT IN
SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA OVERNIGHT.

THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL PROBABLY GET PUSHED SOUTH ON THURSDAY...
WITH A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE STORMS ALONG THE KANSAS AND NEBRASKA
BORDER AND POINTS TO THE SOUTH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY

THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE AREA
THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY. THEN DRY WEATHER IS FORECAST FOR THE
REMAINDER OF THE PERIOD.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL PROBABLY NOT BE NEEDED TONIGHT. HOWEVER...IF
THE CAP DOES BREAK...STORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE QUICKLY AND SPOTTERS
WOULD THEN BE NEEDED.
