THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST
IOWA...WEST CENTRAL IOWA...EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTHEAST
NEBRASKA AND SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE EAST OF EASTERN NEBRSAKA AND WEST
CENTRAL IOWA IN THE MORNING. SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED WITH
THESE.

MORE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND OVERNIGHT
AS INSTABILITY INCREASES NEAR A STATIONARY FRONT EXTENDING FROM
NEAR COLUMBUS TO ONAWA. THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ANYWHERE FROM
AROUND INTERSTATE 80 AND NORTH THROUGH NORTHEAST NEBRASKA DURING
THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. THE FRONT WILL LIFT NORTH
OVERNIGHT...TAKING THE MAIN STORM CHANCES INTO NORTHEAST NEBRASKA
AFTER MIDNIGHT.

WHILE WIDESPREAD SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT ANTICIPATED WITH ANY OF
THIS ACTIVITY LATE TODAY AND OVERNIGHT...SOME STRONG STORMS WITH
SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS ARE POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME LIKELY ON SATURDAY AS A STRONG LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES INTO THE NORTHERN PLAINS AND PUSHES A COLD
FRONT THROUGH EASTERN NEBRASKA AND WESTERN IOWA. A FEW STORMS
COULD FIRE LATE FRIDAY NIGHT...BUT THE BULK OF THE ACTIVITY WILL
FAVOR SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING AS THE FRONT PASSES BY.
THERE IS ONLY A SMALL CHANCE FOR SEVERE STORMS WITH THE
FRONT...WITH HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS COULD LINGER INTO SUNDAY.
