Weather Summary for Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa
National Weather Service Omaha/Valley NE
1010 AM CDT MON SEP 26 2016

A strong low pressure system moving into the Great Lakes region will
maintain a cool northwest flow across much of Mid America through
tonight. So despite sunny skies this afternoon, temperatures will
average just a touch below normal late September highs.

Look for afternoon highs to range from the upper 60s in eastern Iowa
to the upper 70s in western parts of Nebraska and Kansas. As high
pressure settles over the region tonight, clear skies and light
winds will allow lows to drop into the 40s.
