Weather Summary for Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa

An area of light rain will continue to move across southwest Iowa
and southeast Nebraska early this morning. Periods of light rain
will persist over the area through the day as a storm system over
northeast Oklahoma lifts northeast into central Missouri. As the
storm system moves further northeast into Illinois tonight rain will
come to and end by early evening in southeast Nebraska and southwest
Iowa. Further to the north and west, decreasing clouds should bring
afternoon sunshine to much of South Dakota and western sections of
Nebraska and Kansas.

Highs today will hold in the 40s in most of Iowa and eastern
Nebraska where clouds and rain will hold on longer, but climb into
the 60s in western Nebraska and western Kansas where afternoon sun
is expected. Lows tonight will be mainly in the 30s across the
region.
