Weather Summary for Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa

Hot and humid weather will continue across the region for the next
couple of days. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible across the
western High Plains overnight...but elsewhere will remain dry and
muggy. More of the same can be expected across the region Thursday.
Isolated thunderstorms will be possible across Central portions of
Nebraska and southern South Dakota.

Low temperatures overnight will be in the mid to upper 70s. Highs
Thursday will range in the upper 90s to lower 100s. Heat index
values will again range from 105 to 115 degrees. An excessive heat
warning remains in effect for most of the Central Plains.
