A POTENT STORM SYSTEM ROLLING NORTHEAST FROM THE CENTRAL ROCKIES
WILL INTERACT WITH A WARM AND UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE OVER MID AMERICA
TO BRING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO MOST OF THE REGION
TONIGHT. SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE JUST ABOUT ANYWHERE IN
MID AMERICA THIS EVENING...BUT THE STRONGEST STORMS ARE FORECAST TO
DEVELOP IN NORTHWEST KANSAS OR SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA AND MOVE EAST AND
NORTHEAST. SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE THERE...EXPANDING NORTHEAST
ACROSS MUCH OF NEBRASKA DURING THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. HEAVY RAIN
WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF WESTERN AND CENTRAL NEBRASKA INTO
SOUTH DAKOTA. BY SUNRISE SATURDAY...MOST OF THIS ACTIVITY WILL BE
EXITING NORTHERN NEBRASKA INTO SOUTH DAKOTA. HOWEVER MORE SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO AFFECT WESTERN AND CENTRAL
NEBRASKA MUCH OF THE DAY.

OUTSIDE OF THUNDERSTORMS...EXPECT PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND MUGGY
CONDITIONS TO CONTINUE. LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL FALL INTO THE
60S ACROSS SOUTH DAKOTA THROUGH WESTERN NEBRASKA AND WESTERN
KANSAS...WITH LOWS HOLDING IN THE 70S FROM EASTERN NEBRASKA AND
EASTERN KANSAS INTO IOWA AND MISSOURI. HIGHS SATURDAY WILL RANGE
FROM THE 80S IN SOUTH DAKOTA AND WESTERN NEBRASKA TO NEAR 100 IN
PARTS OF EASTERN KANSAS.
