Weather Summary for Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa

A strong cold front moved through most of eastern Nebraska and
western Iowa by early night.  Some light rain, a bit of mixed rain
and snow and a bit of all snow accompanied this boundary, with
generally trace amounts to a couple of hundreds. Otherwise dry
weather is expected through the day on Tuesday, but with sharply
colder air through the rest of this work week. Another storm system
will move into the Plains Tuesday night into Wednesday bringing
light snow mainly to Kansas and Missouri, with some 2 to 3 inch
amounts in the northwest quarter of Kansas.   Dry and cold weather
is expected north of that region.

Lows temperatures tonight, single digits above zero western Dakotas
and western Nebraska to the mid 30s southern Missouri.  Highs on
Tuesday 5 above zero western North Dakota to the mid to upper 40s
southeast Missouri.  For eastern Nebraska and western Iowa, lows
upper teens to mid 20s and highs mid 20s to lower 30s.
