A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IN THE CENTRAL ROCKIES AND HIGH PLAINS WILL
SLOWLY DRIFT INTO MID AMERICA TODAY AND TONIGHT. AHEAD OF THIS
SYSTEM...THERE WILL BE CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS IN MUCH OF THE REGION. THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY
RAIN IN EASTERN NEBRASKA EARLY IN THE DAY WILL SPREAD ACROSS MOST OF
IOWA BY THE AFTERNOON. MORE THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST TO DEVELOP
FROM TIME TO TIME THROUGH THE DAY FROM SOUTH DAKOTA THROUGH NEBRASKA
AND KANSAS. OVERNIGHT TONIGHT...AN END TO THE PRECIPITATION IS
FORECAST FROM SOUTH DAKOTA INTO WESTERN NEBRASKA...BUT MORE ROUNDS
OF STORMS WILL AFFECT IOWA...MISSOURI...KANSAS AND CENTRAL AND
EASTERN NEBRASKA.

HIGH TEMPERATURES THIS AFTERNOON WILL HOLD IN THE 70S AND LOWER 80S
IN MOST OF MID AMERICA...WITH SOME SPOTS IN KANSAS AND MISSOURI
REACHING THE LOWER 90S. LOWS TONIGHT SHOULD RANGE FROM THE 50S IN
WESTERN NEBRASKA TO NEAR 70 IN MISSOURI.
