AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE AND ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT WILL BE THE
FOCUS FOR SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY OVERNIGHT AND MONDAY
MORNING.  PRIMARILY ACROSS THE REGION COMPRISED OF MISSOURI...
IOWA...SOUTHERN MINNESOTA...AND EASTERN KANSAS.  IN ADDITION...
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL LIKELY ACCOMPANY THE STRONGER STORMS.
THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT FOR MOST OF REGION WEST OF MINNESOTA...
IOWA...AND MISSOURI DRY WEATHER IS EXPECTED ON LABOR DAY.  THEN
UNTIL THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...COOLER AND DRIER WEATHER IS EXPECTED
ACROSS THE WESTERN HALF OF THE MIDWEST.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT...GENERALLY IN THE 50S AND 60S...SAVE FOR
COOLER MID 40S WESTERN NEBRASKA...AND WARMER LOWER 70S FOR MOST OF
MISSOURI AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.  HIGHS ON LABOR DAY...GENERALLY IN THE
70S AND 80S...SAVE FOR LOWER 90S SOUTHERN KANSAS INTO SOUTH CENTRAL
MISSOURI.
