A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING INTO THE PLAINS TODAY WILL
GENERATE WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS MID AMERICA
BOTH TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. THE MAIN SURFACE LOW WILL MOVE INTO
NORTHERN KANSAS TONIGHT...WITH A WARM FRONT ACROSS SOUTHEAST
NEBRASKA AND A COLD FRONT TO THE SOUTH INTO OKLAHOMA. SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE NEAR THESE BOUNDARIES...WITH LARGE HAIL
AND EVEN SOME TORNADOES POSSIBLE FROM FAR SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA THROUGH
KANSAS. WIDESPREAD SHOWERS WITH A FEW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ARE
LIKELY ACROSS THE REST OF NEBRASKA INTO IOWA AND MISSOURI TONIGHT.

ON WEDNESDAY THE LOW WILL DRIFT ACROSS EASTERN NEBRASKA INTO
IOWA...WITH CONTINUED CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN MOST
OF NEBRASKA AND IOWA...AS WELL AS NORTHERN KANSAS AND MISSOURI.
COOLER NORTHWEST WINDS WILL FILL INTO BEHIND THE LOW ACROSS WESTERN
NEBRASKA AND KANSAS. SOME SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE AGAIN POSSIBLE
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON FROM SOUTHWEST IOWA INTO MISSOURI.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL FALL INTO THE 30S IN THE COOL AIR
BEHIND THE LOW IN WESTERN NEBRASKA...WHILE HOLDING IN THE 60S IN
MISSOURI AHEAD OF THE LOW WHERE SOUTH WINDS WILL BE MOST PRONOUNCED.
HIGHS WEDNESDAY WILL RANGE FROM THE 40S IN NORTHWEST NEBRASKA AND
SOUTH DAKOTA TO THE 70S IN MISSOURI.
