HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN ACROSS THE AREA INTO THE
WEEKEND...WITH PERIODS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED MAINLY
DURING THE OVERNIGHT AND MORNING HOURS. A WEAK COLD FRONT WILL
BECOME NEARLY STATIONARY NEAR THE KANSAS BORDER. THIS FRONT WILL
PROVIDE A FOCUS FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVERNIGHT INTO FRIDAY.

LOW TEMPERATURES OVERNIGHT WILL RANGE FROM AROUND 60 IN THE WESTERN
HIGH PLAINS...TO THE LOWER AND MID 70S IN EASTERN KANSAS AND
NORTHERN MISSOURI. HIGH TEMPERATURES ON FRIDAY WILL BE MAINLY IN THE
UPPER 80S TO LOWER 90S...WITH READINGS AROUND 100 OVER MOST OF
KANSAS.
