A strong storm system will edge east from the Rockies into the High
Plains later today into tonight, contributing to the development of
showers and thunderstorms which will advance north through the
central Plains. A few strong to severe storms will be possible
tonight across southeast Nebraska, along with the potential for heavy
rainfall. Showers and thunderstorms are again likely on Friday as
the storm system moves into the central and southern Plains.

High temperatures this afternoon will range from 70-75 degrees along
the Nebraska-Kansas border to around 60 degrees over northeast
Nebraska. Lows tonight will be in the mid 40s to mid 50s.
