A low pressure system will be working its way slowly eastward across
the northern and central parts of the Plains the next few days. There
will be at least some chance of showers and thunderstorms, but the
rain will be spotty and generally light. Precipitation chances should
increase on the weekend, as a cold front moves through the region.

High temperatures today across Mid America will be in the 80s and
90s. Lows tonight are expected to vary from the mid 50s to lower 60s.
