Weather Summary for Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa

Periods of snow will continue today in eastern Nebraska and western
Iowa, with additional snow accumulations.  By afternoon, the storm
should start to move out of the area from west to east, with the
last snow likely exiting western Iowa this evening.  Gusty
north to northwest winds will continue this afternoon, making
blowing snow a hazard, especially where several inches of snow have
fallen. Temperatures this afternoon will remain steady or fall into
the mid to upper 20s.  Skies will trend toward clearing this evening
into tonight, with north winds relaxing to around 10 to 15 mph.  Low
temperatures tonight will range from around 10 degrees in northeast
Nebraska to around 20 degrees in southeast Nebraska to southwest
Iowa.
