Warning for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Des Moines River near Stratford affecting Boone, Hamilton and
  Webster Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT TO SATURDAY EVENING...
...REPLACES RIVER FLOOD WATCH...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Des Moines River near Stratford, or from the Boone
  River...to near the City of Boone.

* WHEN...From late tonight to Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, water affects 157th Street on the west
  side of Fraser.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.9 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tonight to a crest of 19.6 feet tomorrow evening. It
    will then fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
