...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

A cold front will pass through the Central Coast Saturday evening
after dropping wetting rains across the entire district. Rainfall
totals in excess of 1 inch for the coastal hills with soaking rains
from 0.50-0.75 for most valleys. Dry but continued unseasonably
cool on Sunday with breezy northwest winds. Gradual warming trend
early in the week then much warmer and drier by Wednesday and
Thursday with dry northerly winds allowing daytime highs back into
the 80s. Long range trends for next weekend keep the forecast dry
with near normal temperatures.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

An unseasonably cold storm brought moderate to heavy rain into
Saturday morning. Showers will continue today behind the front. Snow
levels are rapidly falling behind the front with 1 to 4 inches of
wet snow above 2500 to 3500 feet. Temperatures are forecast to cool
down drastically this weekend with subfreezing early morning
temperatures in the mountains and valleys of Trinity by Sunday.
Temperatures will gradually recover early next week, and will most
likely remain below normal before a warm up commences around mid
next week.
