.SYNOPSIS FOR THE WESTERN GULF OF ALASKA...

High pressure exits the Gulf to the northeast. A front enters the
western Gulf this afternoon, moves to the central Gulf by Thu
afternoon, and then begins to weaken by Fri morning. A 1009 mb
North Pacific low moves to 55N 145W at 996 mb by Thu afternoon and
then to 53N 142W at 999 mb by Fri morning.
