Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
116 PM CDT Tue Apr 23 2024 /1216 PM MDT Tue Apr 23 2024/

A dry ridge of high pressure will exit across Minnesota Wednesday.
The result will be winds shifting out of the south or southeast,
with gusts nearing 35 mph west of the Missouri River late Wednesday
afternoon into Wednesday evening.

Other than a 20 percent chance of light rain over far eastern South
Dakota Wednesday night, dry weather will continue through much of
Thursday. An area of low pressure Thursday evening over the Colorado
Rockies will shift across far southeastern South Dakota Friday night
and across southern Minnesota Saturday morning. This will bring a
few rounds of rain to the entire listening area late Thursday into
Saturday. There is a 40 to 70 percent chance of a half inch or more
rain through the weekend.

Temperature wise, after lows in the 30s Wednesday morning,
temperatures will rebound into the mid to upper 60s in the
afternoon. The warmer air will continue to filter in through
Thursday, when highs will be in the upper 60s to low 70s.
