...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN RANDOLPH COUNTY
THROUGH 830 AM CDT...

At 748 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Crystal Lake, or over Roanoke, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Roanoke, Crystal Lake, Dickert, Rock Mills, Big Springs, Paran,
Roanoke Municipal Airport, and Rock Stand.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT for east central
Alabama.
