A cloudy and noticeably cooler start to the first weekend in May
with periods of rain across the Commonwealth through tonight.
High temperatures will range from 50 to 55 degrees in the
south central ridge and valley region to 65 degrees in Pittsburgh
and Philadelphia to 75 degrees in Erie.

More wet weather is expected on Sunday with steadier rain
transitioning to showers. A few strong thunderstorms are possible
late Sunday afternoon and early evening across the western part of
the Keystone State. Total rainfall forecast through Sunday night
is 0.50 to 1 inch.

The pattern will remain unsettled next week daily chances for
showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will trend warmer and
likely peak between 75 and 85 degrees on Wednesday.
