  Eastern Cass County in southwestern Iowa...
  Western Union County in south central Iowa...
  Guthrie County in west central Iowa...
  Eastern Audubon County in west central Iowa...
  Adams County in southwestern Iowa...
  Western Dallas County in central Iowa...
  Adair County in southwestern Iowa...

* Until 1100 PM CDT.

* At 1009 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 4 miles southwest of Dedham to Anita to 5 miles
  south of Corning, moving northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Creston, Audubon, Greenfield, Corning, Guthrie Center, Stuart,
  Lenox, Panora, Lake Panorama, Green Valley Lake, Lake Icaria,
  Anita, Afton, Exira, Redfield, Adair, Fontanelle, Dexter, Bayard,
  and Casey.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 65 and 100.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for central, south
central, southwestern and west central Iowa.
