This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Showers and storms are expected late this afternoon and evening.
A few storms could be severe this afternoon and evening, with
damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes. Heavy rainfall
could also pose a localized flooding risk.

Tributary rivers are rising in many areas, and flooding in several
locations south of Highway 34. Please refer to the latest flood
warnings for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

Active pattern returns Tuesday, lasting through the end of the
week. There will be plenty of chances for showers and storms,
especially through midweek.

Spotter activation is possible this evening.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: Toward the northeast at 30 to 40
MPH.
