...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN ROCK ISLAND...NORTHWESTERN WHITESIDE...NORTHEASTERN
SCOTT AND EASTERN CLINTON COUNTIES...

At 635 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over McCausland, or
11 miles southwest of Clinton, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Davenport, Bettendorf, Clinton, Eldridge, Camanche, Le Claire,
Fulton, Port Byron, Garden Plain, Albany, Princeton, Long Grove,
Cordova, Riverdale, McCausland, Low Moor, East Clinton, Malone,
Folletts, and Elvira.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 74 in Iowa between mile markers 1 and 2.
 Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 296 and 304.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for northwestern
Illinois...and east central Iowa.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.
