...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 PM CDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of north central Missouri, including the
  following counties, Grundy, Harrison, Mercer, Putnam and Sullivan.

* WHEN...Until 145 PM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams
  continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 611 PM CDT, Missouri Department of Transportation reports
    several roads closed in the warned area. Up to 3 inches has
    fallen across parts of the area the past 12 hours. The
    resulting runoff from this rainfall will result in flooding
    continuing along area streams into Friday.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Bethany, Unionville, Princeton, Ridgeway, Gilman City,
    Mercer, Eagleville, New Hampton, Cainsville, Spickard, Galt,
    Blythedale, Newtown, Pollock, Mount Moriah, Lucerne, Tindall,
    Brimson, Harris and Powersville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
