.DISCUSSION...
A passing upper trough will bring rain chances to the eastern two
thirds of the area today. In the far west, mainly Val Verde
County, low humidity in the teens and 20s combined with breezy
northwest winds will bring a period of elevated to near-critical
fire weather conditions this afternoon and evening. Otherwise, dry
weather is forecast Tuesday into Wednesday before another system
brings precipitation chances to the area Wednesday night through
Thursday. Some low end rain chances continue Friday and Saturday
with drier and warmer conditions expected late weekend.
