...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of western Edwards and
northeastern Val Verde Counties through 1215 AM CDT...

At 1115 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Juno to 12 miles north of Comstock.
Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Loma Alta, Carta Valley, Bakers Crossing, Vinegarone, and Devils
River State Nat Area Del Norte.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for south
central Texas.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
south central Texas.
