* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Caldwell County in south central Texas...
  Southeastern Hays County in south central Texas...
  Northeastern Guadalupe County in south central Texas...
  Northwestern Gonzales County in south central Texas...

* Until 930 PM CDT.

* At 836 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near San Marcos,
  moving southeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  San Marcos, Kyle, Lockhart, Luling, Martindale, Uhland, Kingsbury,
  Niederwald, Staples, Fentress, Palmeto State Park, Brownsboro,
  Mountain City, Delhi, Joliet, Oak Forest, Belmont, Maxwell,
  Reedville, and McNeil.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
