...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN THOMAS...EASTERN
LOGAN...SOUTHERN SHERIDAN...GOVE AND SOUTHWESTERN GRAHAM COUNTIES
THROUGH 1045 PM CDT...

At 1020 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles north of Grinnell
to 8 miles southwest of Gove to 4 miles northeast of Healy. Movement
was east at 70 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Grainfield and Gove around 1025 PM CDT.
  Park around 1030 PM CDT.
  Quinter around 1035 PM CDT.

This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 64 and
113.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
west central Kansas. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in
effect until midnight CDT for northwestern Kansas.
