...DANGEROUS DRIVING AND WALKING CONDITIONS FOR MAINE COASTAL
TOWNS THROUGH AT LEAST THIS MORNING...

The storm that affected Maine with significant snow and ice is
departing and the precipitation is over. However, significant
amounts of ice remain in trees and power lines. This combined with
wind gusts of 25 to 35 MPH is still allowing for falling ice and
large trees branches. This will pose a threat to pedestrians and
motorists this morning. Don`t venture out unless you have to. In
addition, there are many power outages which means there could be
live wires on the ground. Slippery conditions are expected also. Winds
will diminish this afternoon and temperatures are expected to
rise above freezing.

...AREAS OF HAZARDOUS DRIVING AND WALKING CONDITIONS THIS MORNING...

The storm that affected New Hampshire with significant snow and
ice is departing and the precipitation is over. However,
significant amounts of ice and snow remain in trees and power
lines, especially at higher elevations such as in the Monadnocks.
This combined with wind gusts of 25 to 30 MPH may allow for
additional branches to fall this morning. Slippery conditions are
also expected. Winds will diminish this afternoon.
