...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...The following counties in west central Ohio, Darke,
  Greene, Miami, Montgomery and Preble.

* WHEN...Until 515 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 204 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of
    rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch
    are possible.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Dayton, Beavercreek, Huber Heights, Fairborn, Xenia,
    Trotwood, Vandalia, Englewood, West Milton, Wright-Patterson
    Afb, Lewisburg, Wilberforce, Riverside, Clayton, Union,
    Brookville, Shiloh, Phillipsburg, Verona and West Manchester.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

To report flooding, go to our website at weather.gov/iln and submit
your report via social media, when you can do so safely.
