The affected areas were...
Michigan City IN to New Buffalo MI...

The thunderstorm has weakened AND moved out of the warned area and
no longer poses a significant threat to boaters.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for southwestern
Michigan...and the adjacent waters of Lake Michigan.

...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM EDT...

For the following areas...
Lake Michigan Michigan City IN to St. Joseph MI 5 NM offshore to
mid-line of lake....
New Buffalo MI to St Joseph MI...

At 619 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near St. Joseph
Light, moving northeast at 35 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and large hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in
         structural damage.

The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for southwestern
