The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Blackford County in east central Indiana...
  Southeastern Wells County in northeastern Indiana...
  Southwestern Adams County in northeastern Indiana...
  Northwestern Jay County in east central Indiana...

* Until 730 PM EDT.

* At 653 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Montpelier,
  or near Hartford City, moving east at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Portland, Hartford City, Berne, Montpelier, Geneva, Pennville,
  Center, Nottingham, Bryant, Mill Grove, Petroleum, Domestic, Fiat,
  Balbec, Trenton, and Roll.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for northeastern
and east central Indiana.
