This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

An increased risk of wildfires will continue tonight as low relative
humidity and breezy conditions occur across the area.

Strong southeasterly winds will increase tonight with gusts
approaching 35 mph. Locally higher gusts will be possible across the
higher terrain along the Virginia border.

There`s a slight chance for thunderstorms overnight tonight mainly
along the I-75 corridor.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

There`s a slight chance for thunderstorms through late Tuesday
morning for areas along and west of a line from Elliot to Whitley
counties.

Strong southeasterly winds with gusts approaching 35 mph will
persist through early Tuesday afternoon. Locally higher gusts will be
possible across the higher terrain along the Virginia border.

The threat for freezing temperatures returns for many valley
locations on Thursday night.

Thunderstorms will be possible across the area this weekend.
