  Coastal waters from the Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to
  Port Fourchon Louisiana out 20 NM...

At 751 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 12 nm northeast of Lower
Atchafalaya River to near Eugene Island 273, moving east at 25 knots.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until this activity passes.
