.DISCUSSION...

A cold front will push through the area this morning. Any low
ceilings and light rain showers still around at 0800 will depart
quickly thereafter. Gusty northwest winds will develop this
afternoon, with sustained winds of 10 to 15 kt and gusts of 20
to 25 kt expected. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect from noon
today until 2 AM tonight, with winds continuing to diminish overnight.

Clouds will increase as low pressure moves off the Carolina coast
Sunday, but rain will stay south of the area.

High pressure builds overhead Monday, beginning a slight warming
trend. Southerly winds will begin to increase Tuesday, and a Small
Craft Advisory may be needed. A cold front will reach the area
Wednesday, bringing the next chance of showers. Small Craft
Advisories may linger through Thursday due to gusty northwest winds
in the wake of the front.

The current water temperature is 61 degrees.
