Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the MidSouth
National Weather Service Memphis TN
405 AM CDT Tue Mar 19 2024

.DISCUSSION...Rain-free weather is expected across the region
into Wednesday. Minimum relative humidity values this afternoon
are expected to range between 25 to 30 percent. A combination of low
humidity and 20 ft winds increasing to 10 to 15 mph may result in an
elevated fire danger this afternoon, especially north of I-40.
Temperatures will moderate into the 60s to lower 70s for Wednesday.
Rain chances return for Thursday into Friday as an area of low pressure
moves across the Lower Mississippi Valley.
