Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure is building in across the basin behind
a departed cold front. Moderate to fresh winds prevail behind of
the front in the eastern Gulf along with rough seas. As the
front continues moving farther from the basin, conditions will
improve over the eastern basin by this afternoon. Strong winds
will pulse off the northwest Yucatan in the evenings through the
next several days. Otherwise, moderate to fresh winds with
slight to moderate seas can be expected through the upcoming
weekend and into next week.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from 31N75W to just SE of the
Straits of Florida will reach from 31N68W to central Cuba early
Sat while weakening, then from 31N61W to eastern Cuba early Sun
where it will stall and gradually dissipate. Strong to near gale-
force winds near the front N of 29N early today will diminish
through tonight. Rough seas will accompany these winds. High
pressure will build in the wake of the front through early next
week with more tranquil marine conditions expected.

.THIS AFTERNOON...NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft S of 27N, and
5 to 7 ft N of 27N.
.TONIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 15 to 20 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 ft S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N.
.SAT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NW to N 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft S of 27N, and 5 to 7 ft N of 27N.
