HYDROLOGIC OUTLOOK

...Heavy rainfall possible this weekend into early next week...

Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected to move
across the area through early next week. The potential for heavy
rain is highest starting Saturday...when tropical moisture will
move into the area.

A large part of the area will likely see 2 to 4 inches of rain
during this period. Local amounts of over 6 inches are possible.

The ground is still fairly wet from recent rains and a few storms
are possible between now and the weekend. Additional heavy rain
will likely cause flooding...especially in low lying areas.

Confidence is high that heavy rain will fall, but confidence is
low as to the exact location where the heaviest rain will fall.
Details should become clearer as the event nears.
