...The flood warning continues for the Green River in Kentucky...

   At Calhoun affecting McLean and Webster Counties

.Due to heavy rainfall and anticipated snow melt, minor flood
conditions are forecast to develop at Calhoun by Friday afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Never drive cars...trucks or sport utility vehicles through flooded
areas. The water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow
children to play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather
Radio or your local media for further statements and possible updated
forecasts.

The Flood Warning continues for the Green River at Calhoun.
* from Friday afternoon until further notice.
* At 9 AM Thursday the stage was 20.9 feet.
* Flood Stage is 23.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow afternoon and
  continue to rise to near 24.8 feet by Monday morning. Additional
  rises are possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 26.0 Feet...Moderate flooding occurs with thousands of
  acreage flooded in the Island, Rumsey, and Jewel City areas.
