.Recent heavy rainfall is resulting in minor flooding on the Little
Wabash River at Carmi.

For the Little Wabash River...including Carmi...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, The inundation of county roads begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 27.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this afternoon to a crest of 27.1 feet this evening. It will
    then fall below flood stage early Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
