FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR THE HEARTLAND
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
341 PM CDT TUE OCT 28 2014

.DISCUSSION...
DURING THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS...THE LOWEST DAYTIME
RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES WILL BE EXPECTED ON WEDNESDAY.
SHARPER CHANGES IN TEMPERATURES INTO THE WEEKEND WILL
IMPACT THE OVERALL EVAPORATION OF FINE FUELS...LEADING
TO HIGHER RELATIVE HUMIDITY READINGS THROUGH THE PERIOD.

FROST ACCUMULATION ON FINE FUELS WILL BE LIKELY OCTOBER 30TH...
AS WELL AS NOVEMBER 1ST AND 2ND. FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE
EXPECTED ON NOVEMBER 1ST AND 2ND...AND WILL LIKELY IMPACT
ANY REMAINING LIVE GROUND VEGETATION IN OPEN AREAS OR UNPROTECTED
FOREST AREAS.

ALTHOUGH A MINOR DISTURBANCE WILL BRING A SMALL CHANCE FOR
RAIN THURSDAY AND THURSDAY EVENING, THE BEST CHANCE FOR RAIN WILL
NOT RETURN UNTIL EARLY NEXT WEEK.

BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL BE THE RULE LATE IN THE WEEK AND
THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
