This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Strong northwest winds will gust 30 to 40 mph throughout the Quad
State through early evening.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday
Breezy west-northwest winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph on Friday,
with the highest gusts in the northeast half of the region.
Elevated fire weather conditions are expected in the Ozark
Foothills of Missouri on Friday, due to the strong winds and RH`s
falling into the 20 to 25 percent range.
A chance of thunderstorms returns to the forecast next week, with
the greatest chance occurring Tuesday into Tuesday night.
