THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN
ILLINOIS...SOUTHWESTERN INDIANA...WESTERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHEASTERN
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT TODAY. HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL
GENERALLY RANGE FROM 100 TO 105 THIS AFTERNOON.

AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM CANNOT BE RULED OUT OVER A SMALL PART OF
SOUTHWESTERN INDIANA AND THE PENNYRILE REGION OF WESTERN KENTUCKY
THIS AFTERNOON. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE FOR A FEW HOURS
OVER PARTS OF THE MISSOURI OZARK FOOTHILLS. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL
AND LIGHTNING WILL BE THE PRIMARY CONCERNS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

A HEAT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM TUESDAY. HEAT INDEX VALUES
TUESDAY AFTERNOON WILL GENERALLY RANGE FROM 100 TO 105.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS MAY OCCUR TUESDAY AFTERNOON NEAR THE
INTERSTATE 64 CORRIDOR. THE COVERAGE OF THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED
TO INCREASE A BIT BY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AS A FRONTAL BOUNDARY
APPROACHES FROM THE NORTH. DAILY CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL
INCREASE ACROSS MORE OF THE REGION FROM THURSDAY THROUGH SUNDAY. THE
BEST CHANCES WILL BE ON SUNDAY. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND FREQUENT
LIGHTNING WILL BE THE PRIMARY CONCERNS.
