ILLINOIS...SOUTHWEST INDIANA...WESTERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

AS LIGHT RAIN SPREADS ACROSS THE QUAD STATE REGION LATE TONIGHT...
IT MAY BEGIN AS LIGHT FREEZING RAIN FOR 2 OR 3 HOURS ACROSS
SOUTHWEST INDIANA AND NORTHERN PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS NORTH
OF ROUTE 13. IMPACTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE MINOR AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST
TUESDAY INTO TUESDAY NIGHT. THE HEAVIEST RAIN IS FORECAST TO FALL
ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE OHIO RIVER. SOME FLOODING ISSUES MAY RESULT
FROM THE COMBINATION OF SNOW MELT AND THE HEAVY RAINS...ESPECIALLY
WHERE THUNDERSTORMS OCCUR. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED.

THE RAIN IS FORECAST TO CHANGE TO SLEET AND EVENTUALLY SNOW ON
WEDNESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY NIGHT AS MUCH COLDER AIR RUSHES IN
BEHIND A STRONG COLD FRONT. WHILE FAR FROM CERTAIN...MODERATE TO
HEAVY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS ALL OR PART OF THE
QUAD STATE REGION. PLEASE REFER TO THE SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
