Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

Widely scattered thunderstorms will continue this afternoon and into
the evening across most of the area. Lightning, locally heavy rain,
and gusty winds will be the primary hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

An Excessive Heat Watch is in effect for Wednesday through Sunday.

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms Saturday through Sunday.
