THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN
ILLINOIS...SOUTHWEST INDIANA...WESTERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

TWO SYSTEMS WILL BRING A CHANCE OF LIGHT SNOW TO THE FORECAST FOR
PARTS OF THE REGION TONIGHT. A SYSTEM TO THE SOUTH WILL LIFT NORTH
AND BRING A CHANCE OF SNOW TO GENERALLY THE LAKES REGION OF
WESTERN KENTUCKY AND EASTWARD ALONG THE TENNESSEE BORDER. TRACE TO
LESS THAN HALF INCH AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED THERE.

ANOTHER SYSTEM MOVES IN LATER TONIGHT FROM THE NORTH...AND BRINGS
A CHANCE OF LIGHT SNOW TO THE FAR NORTHWESTERN REACHES OF THE QUAD
STATE...GENERALLY ALONG AND NORTH OF I-64 EXTENDING TOWARD AND
REMAINING NORTH OF CAPE GIRARDEAU AND HIGHWAY 60 THROUGH THE
MISSOURI OZARK FOOTHILLS. THERE TOO...TRACE TO LESS THAN HALF INCH
AMOUNTS ARE ANTICIPATED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL MAKE PASSAGE THURSDAY INTO THURSDAY
NIGHT. RECORD OR NEAR RECORD LOW TEMPERATURES IN THE SINGLE
DIGITS AND TEENS ARE FORECAST THURSDAY NIGHT. CORRESPONDING WIND
CHILLS WILL BE IN THE NEGATIVE SINGLE DIGITS. ANY LIGHT SNOWS THAT
OCCUR WITH THIS ARCTIC AIR THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT SHOULD
HAVE LITTLE IF ANY IMPACT ON THE REGION...WITH HALF INCH OR LESS
AMOUNTS ANTICIPATED.

A LIGHT WINTRY MIX WILL BE POSSIBLE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY
SUNDAY...MAINLY ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST MISSOURI...SOUTHERN
ILLINOIS AND SOUTHWEST INDIANA. THIS MIX WILL LIKELY WARM OVER TO
ALL RAIN DURING THE DAYTIME SUNDAY...BUT MAY SWITCH BACK TO
WINTRY PRECIPITATION IN SOME LOCATIONS AS AIR TEMPERATURES COOL
SUNDAY NIGHT.
