THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN
ILLINOIS...SOUTHWEST INDIANA...WESTERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHEAST
MISSOURI.

...A WINTER STORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE OUTLOOK AREA FROM
EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY MORNING.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

AS LIGHT RAIN SPREADS ACROSS THE QUAD STATE REGION LATE TONIGHT...
IT MAY BEGIN AS LIGHT FREEZING RAIN FOR 2 OR 3 HOURS ACROSS
SOUTHWEST INDIANA AND NORTHERN PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS
MAINLY NORTH OF ROUTE 13. IMPACTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE MINOR AT
THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST
TUESDAY INTO TUESDAY NIGHT. THE HEAVIEST RAIN IS FORECAST TO FALL
MAINLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE OHIO RIVER. A FEW FLOODING ISSUES
MAY RESULT FROM THE COMBINATION OF SNOW MELT AND THE HEAVY
RAINS...ESPECIALLY WHERE THUNDERSTORMS OCCUR. SEVERE WEATHER IS
NOT EXPECTED.

THE RAIN IS FORECAST TO CHANGE TO SLEET AND EVENTUALLY SNOW WEDNESDAY
INTO WEDNESDAY NIGHT AS MUCH COLDER AIR RUSHES IN BEHIND A STRONG
COLD FRONT. MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE
ACROSS ALL OF THE OUTLOOK AREA. PLEASE REFER TO THE WINTER STORM
WATCH FOR ADDITIONAL DETAILS.
