This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Heat index values will top out near 100 over much of the region
Saturday afternoon.

Chances of thunderstorms are forecast for all or a portion of the
region Saturday through Sunday night. The best chances will be
late Saturday night through Sunday evening. A few strong to
severe storms with strong winds cannot be ruled out late Saturday
evening into the overnight hours, but heavy rainfall and lightning
will be the primary concerns through the period.

A chance of thunderstorms is forecast mainly over the northern
half of the region Tuesday night into Wednesday and again Thursday
afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall and lightning will be the
primary concerns.


Spotter activation may be needed over southern Illinois and the
Evansville Tri State late Saturday night.
