...NOAA Weather Radio is Off The Air...

NOAA Weather Radio Transmitters, K X I 93 in Cape Girardeau
Missouri, broadcasting on a frequency of 162.550 Megahertz,

W W G 48 in Doniphan Missouri, broadcasting on a frequency of
162.450 Megahertz, and

K X I 66 in Piedmont Missouri, broadcasting on a frequency of
162.425 Megahertz,

are off the air due to telecommunication issues.

The telephone company and NOAA Weather Radio transmitter
technicians have been notified of the problem.

If your weather radio is tuned to these transmitters, you will
experience a broadcast outage through at least this afternoon.

At this time, the National Weather Service does not have a time
for the restoration of weather broadcasts on these particular
transmitters.

We apologize for any inconvenience this outage may cause to our
listeners.
