217 PM CDT WED MAY 20 2015

WEDNESDAY TURNED OUT ALMOST OPPOSITE OF TUESDAY, WITH PERIODS OF
MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL, CLOUDY SKIES AND UNSEASONABLY COOL
TEMPERATURES. NORTHEAST WINDS OCCURRED IN MANY COMMUNITIES WITH
RAINFALL ACCUMULATIONS BETWEEN ONE QUARTER AND ONE HALF INCH.
MORNING LOWS WERE IN THE MID 50S THROUGHOUT THE AREA WITH MID
AFTERNOON HIGHS RISING JUST A FEW DEGREES, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF
THE SOUTHERN PENNYRILE AREA WHERE HIGHS WERE IN THE LOW 70S.

A FAST MOVING DISTURBANCE WILL PUSH ACROSS THE QUAD STATE REGION
BY THIS EVENING. IN THE WAKE OF THE RAIN HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD
IN ACROSS THE REGION AGAIN. TEMPERATURES WILL START OUT SOME 10 TO
15 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR ON THURSDAY,
MODERATING TO SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL ON FRIDAY. FOR THE HOLIDAY
WEEKEND, FAIR WEATHER AND NORMAL TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED ON
SATURDAY BUT THE REST OF THE MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND WILL BE A TOSS
UP, WITH A DAILY CHANCE OF SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS STRETCHING
FROM SUNDAY THROUGH NEXT TUESDAY. THE CHANCE OF RAIN SHOULD NOT
WASH OUT ALL HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES THIS WEEKEND, BUT MAY BRIEFLY
POSTPONE SOME OUTDOOR EVENTS THAT ARE HIGHLY IMPACTED BY INCLEMENT
WEATHER.
