WEATHER SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
302 AM CDT THU JUL 23 2015

MAINLY DRY AND PLEASANT CONDITIONS WERE FELT ON WEDNESDAY WITH
PLENTY OF SUNSHINE AND HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE MIDDLE 80S. SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED OVER SOUTHEAST MISSOURI LATE IN THE
AFTERNOON AND MOVED EAST ACROSS WESTERN KENTUCKY AND FAR SOUTHERN
ILLINOIS DURING THE EVENING. THE MAIN IMPACT FROM THE THUNDERSTORM
ACTIVITY WAS MINOR FLOODING DUE TO VERY HEAVY RAIN. ANOTHER COMPLEX
OF THUNDERSTORMS HAD DEVELOPED OVER SOUTHEAST MISSOURI OVERNIGHT...
WITH ISOLATED SHOWERS ELSEWHERE. EARLY THURSDAY MORNING TEMPERATURES
WERE GENERALLY IN THE UPPER 60S TO LOWER 70S.

WITH A WEAK FRONTAL BOUNDARY DRAPED ACROSS SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE
AREA...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE TODAY...
ESPECIALLY ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND WESTERN
KENTUCKY. A TREND TOWARDS MAINLY DRY WEATHER IS EXPECTED TONIGHT
THROUGH SATURDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE OHIO VALLEY PREVAILS.
THIS WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY SLIGHTLY LESS HEAT AND HUMIDITY. HIGHS
TODAY AND FRIDAY ARE FORECAST IN THE MID TO UPPER 80S...THEN NEAR 90
BY SATURDAY. HEAT AND HUMIDITY WILL RETURN OVER THE WEEKEND INTO
EARLY NEXT WEEK ALONG WITH A SMALL CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS EACH DAY.
