WEATHER SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
357 PM CST Mon Dec 22 2014

Widespread light rain moved across the Quad State Region this
afternoon, as a warm front passes through the area. Skies were
overcast, and winds were southwesterly at 5 to 15 mph. Afternoon
temperatures reached the low to mid 50s.

A cold front will move east across the Lower Ohio Valley on Tuesday,
bringing an end to the widespread rain. A low pressure system will
then move northeast across Middle Tennessee on Wednesday. This
system will spread rain back across our region late Tuesday night
and Wednesday. The rain may change to snow at times, especially in
southeast Missouri and southern Illinois. No widespread
accumulations of snow are expected, but some localized minor
accumulations are possible. Precipitation will end Wednesday night
as high pressure builds east into the Mississippi Valley. This high
should bring dry conditions for Christmas Day. Lows will be in the
lower 30s Wednesday night. Highs on Christmas will be in the mid to
upper 40s.
