WEATHER SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
316 PM CST SUN FEB 22 2015

THE GOOD THING ABOUT SUNDAY IS THAT THERE WAS NOT A WINTRY MIX OF
PRECIPITATION, BUT CLOUDY SKIES WITH TEMPERATURES RUNNING 20 TO 25
DEGREES BELOW NORMAL PERSISTED. MORNING LOWS WERE IN THE UPPER 20S
TO RIGHT AROUND THE FREEZING MARK IN MANY LOCATIONS, WITH
VERY LITTLE CHANGE IN AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES. AT THE NWS
OFFICE IN PADUCAH, OUR SNOW DEPTH IS 4 INCHES, EVEN AFTER OVER TWO
AND A HALF INCHES OF RAINFALL FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.

STRONG WINDS AND UNSEASONABLY COLD TEMPERATURES WILL PRODUCE SUB
ZERO WIND CHILL VALUES ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA OVERNIGHT AND INTO
MID MORNING MONDAY. HIGH PRESSURE WILL BE CENTERED OVER CENTRAL
ILLINOIS BY MONDAY AFTERNOON, WITH COLD TEMPERATURES REMAINING IN
PLACE FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. ON THE PLUS SIDE, NO SIGNIFICANT
PRECIPITATION EXPECTED UNTIL NEXT WEEKEND.
