NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
357 PM CST SUN Jan 25 2015
Rain moved across the Quad State Region today as a storm system
moved through the area. Temperatures reached afternoon highs ranging
from the upper 30s to mid 40s. Winds were southwesterly at 5 to 15
mph, and skies were overcast.
There are several more of these clipper type systems poised to move
through the heartland this upcoming week. The next one will move
through mainly to our east on Tuesday...possibly giving a glancing
blow of light rain or snow to areas east of US highway 41 in Indiana
and Kentucky. But again this system will be weak with very little
precipitation. Another weak clipper will move through Thursday with
best chances for rain east of the Mississippi River. Finally another
will move through this weekend most likely Saturday night but there
are still some uncertainty about the timing with the last system.
