WEATHER SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
326 AM CDT Sat Jul 19 2014

The passage of an upper level system resulted in considerable
cloudiness and continued below normal temperatures on Friday. High
temperatures were in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Overnight, clouds
persisted over portions of southwest Indiana and western Kentucky,
with mainly clear skies in southeast Missouri and southern Illinois.
Early morning temperatures ranged from the upper 50s to lower 60s
with light northeast winds.

A weak upper level system will slowly move east of the region over
the weekend. In its wake, a ridge of high pressure will build east
from the Plains. This will result in a gradual increase in heat and
humidity through the first half of the new week. Another cold front
is expected to drop south across the area Wednesday into Thursday.
This front will bring a small chance of showers and thunderstorms
followed by yet another spell of milder and drier conditions by the
end of the week.
